Busowoko Falls Rafting

Pioneers of Nile Adventure

Creating unforgettable experiences since 2010

About the company

Founded in 2010 by veteran rafting guides Joseph Kato and Sarah Nalwoga, Busowoko Falls Rafting Company began as a small team of passionate adventurers dedicated to sharing the majesty of the Nile River. What started with two rafts and a shared dream has grown into Uganda's premier adventure tourism company, welcoming over 15,000 guests annually. Our name comes from the local Luganda phrase "Busowoko obuggya," meaning "where the water dances," perfectly capturing the spirit of our beloved Busowoko Falls. Over the years, we've expanded from white water rafting to offering 15+ adventure activities while maintaining our core commitment to safety, sustainability, and authentic Ugandan hospitality.
